HYDRAMATIC PROBLEMS! HELP!
HOWS IT GOING?
I HAVE A 1960 OLDSMOBILE NINETY-EIGHT , THAT DOESNT WANT TO GET INTO 2ND GEAR. IT SOUNDS LIKE A NO BRAINER, BUT I AM PRETTY SURE THE TRANNY ISNT BLOWN. IT WORKED PERFECTLY RIGHT BEFORE THE CQRB REBUILD AND UPPER MANIFOL GASKET CHANGE. GET MY DRIFT?
I BELIEVE SOMETHING ISNT ADJUSTED RIGHT OR GOT "MISADJUSTED" .
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

There is a mechanical throttle valve that attaches to the side of the carburetor. This needs to be attached and set to zero slack with the throttle closed. It is a very fine adjustment and may take some time to get right.
