how do u lube the speedometer cable?
#2
you have to disconnect the cable from the bask of the speedo head, then using a pair of needle nose plijjars, pull the inner cable out, wipe it off with a rag then use a product like sil glyde.lube the entire inner cable, then push some lube(alittle) into the outer cable hole as you push the inner cable back into the outer housing.twist the inner cable as you push it down to seat it properly.then clip it back into the speedo head..

Clean the old dried gunk from the cable before relubing it.
Getting it back into the tranny will take some patience. Just lightly turn it, push and pull gently until it seats in. If you kink the cable, it will need replacement.
OH - you want a link?? I have one here just for you!
