I just found out the tranny and possibly the engine of my 77 grand prix aren't right. I know I have an olds engine, I think its a 77 but I need a tranny now cause the kickdown cable is electric and I don't have wiring. Anyone have a tranny that would work in MN? I need help bad guys

If your kickdown isn't working properly then why don't you repair it? The TH 400 uses manifold vacuum and an electrical switch for kickdown. I believe the TH 350 uses a cable.

Getting wiring to activate the kickdown isn't difficult. If your model car came with a TH400 stock then it should be available even if your car doesn't have it. You should be able to find one in a wrecking yard too.
