Column shifter rattle

Couple of years ago, I built my engine and at the same time converted from manifolds to long tube headers. This was the reason I converted the original column shift linkage to
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-aca-1800
to make room for headers.
This caused an unwanted feature at idle. Because of a bit rougher idle than stock, transmission movement makes the column shift rattle. This is quite annoying. Any advice to fix? Original linkage fixes the problem and does not transfer the trans movement to shifter, but is a " no can do" -situation with long tube headers.
