ck performance transmission rebuild kits

So I'm going to rebuild my 2004r transmission.. I'm confused on which ck performance rebuild kit to buy. What's the difference between the Master rebuild kit "B" and the Master rebuild kit "B"?! I plan on making my '85 delta 88 my daily driver. I don't plan on racing it or anything like that! And will I need a new torque converter ? I been reading and some people say yes and some say no! What is the smartest thing to do?

1) You don't know what crap is floating around inside the converter, and the internal bearings and clutch DO wear. It's silly to put an old converter on a freshly-rebuilt trans.

2) You want kit "C" at a minimum for the heat treated stator tube and sun gear shell. You really want the street/strip kit for the billet forward drum also.

Looks like prices have come down since I bough my kit 10 years ago.
