Choosing a clutch

Choosing a clutch
I am budgeting and finding what parts I will be using when I move my focus to the drivetrain of my car and have some questions about clutches, what sort of clutch can be recommended? Saginaw to olds 350, I have not built the engine but I can say less than 400 hp, is there a difference between olds and sbc clutch kits. What determines the size of clutch kit I need? I am looking to keep it inexpensive but let me know what's good and maybe brand/s to avoid, it won't be seeing any drag strip or be abused but I would like something that's going to be solid

You can go to your local auto parts store and get a kit for a stock 455 olds (a little more holding power). The problem with kits are you may get a junk throwout bearing and/or pilot bearing. I would price the clutch plate/pressure plate separate from the bearings. And I would get an adjustable throwout bearing, so you can get the fork angle correct.
