BOP bellhousing for a T-56

Sorry if this is old news, but I just found out about this over the weekend. Weir Hot Rod Products sells cast aluminum BOP bellhousings for the T-56 six speed. Here's their website:

they make a nice product. I have used their bellhousings in a couple of projects and the fit and finish is quite good. bellhousing is a good heavy casting that should hold up to lots of abuse.

Damn.....just stumbled on this via Google searching
Thanks for posting Joe. NO prices listed still.......

Been trying to find a bellhousing to make the T-56 mate up to my 350.
This looks better then the McLeod and other options.

Still working on a crossmember for it though.

They are not priced out of sight they are actually very competitive compared to the other options from different companies. On the crossmember issue you will probably end up building your own.

So what did the bellhousings run from them??
I couldn't call today since it was Dreamsicle day.

I figured as much.....that's why I'm taking a welding class starting in a week.

IIRC the last setup I got from them was around 650 or 700 and that had the throwout bearing and the master cylinder kit. I have been well pleased with their products.Just my .02

I just got off the phone with him today. You sir are correct.
It was $690 for the complete kit shown in post #1.

This includes:

Bell Housing - Made from 316 Aluminum iirc
Dust Shield
Hydraulic throw out bearing
All associated bolts to bolt it up.

He said he would sell just the bell housing & dust shield for a little over $300.
I left the notes at home. I'll edit and update later.
This is a good option for me since I already have my Hyd TOB.
He prefers to sell it as a kit, but will sell it separately.

You will still need the
1. Master cylinder & reservoir
2. Pilot Bearing for crankshaft
(Looking into Roller Pilot Bearings)
3. Clutch master firewall plate that was made by Speed Tech Performance

This thread had a TON of useful info for these swaps into BOP cars.
