I am looking at a 70 JO W-31 automatic transmission soon. I am looking for any information on them. I can't find much on google. What do I need to look for? Do they have special valve bodies or other parts? Anyone have a picture of what the JO code looks like?

 

I know that the '70 Chassis Service Manual describes a few differences in the clutch pack (and elsewhere?) for the OW transmission. You might find the same such info for the JO.
