69 cutlass kickdown cable attachment help?
Hey guys another question I swapped out my jetaway to the th350 and now have problems figuring out where the kickdown cable would attach. It has a 2 barrel on it thanks for help or if someone could send a pic I appreciate it

To the transmission or to the car? I thought that 350's attached on the top of the gas pedal. That's where Mine is. You might find some wires taped up over in that area. That's the harness for the TH-400, but you won't be needing that.
If you look at the cutlass chassis service manual, i can guarantee there's a nice picture of where it's going to hook up on the TH350. It's on the passenger side, there should be a little wire clip sticking out where it should be.

Same change on my 69. I have the cable running to the linkage on a holley carb but gas pedal is the factory original way of doing it. Don't think your pedal will have the hook unless changed with another.

Yup. On the 1969-72 TH350 cars, the kickdown cable runs through the firewall and connects to the accelerator pedal. Only factory TH350 cars got the special accelerator pedal with a second tab to accept the kickdown cable. This could not be used on Jetaway or TH400 cars because it got in the way of the kickdown switch. You need the accelerator pedal from a 1969-72 TH350 A-body. Any A-body will work. It's a very easy swap - two bolts holds the pedal to the firewall.

And again, that's because in 1969 it went through the firewall to the accelerator pedal. The 1969 carb throttle arm is not designed to accommodate the kickdown cable.
