A buddy of mine just bought a 72 cutlass. It came with a 400 transmission that was running fine then it lost 3rd. He got another used 400 installed it and same thing. He installed a used 350 and same thing. Is it possible that the linkage is off? I told him to check the hardline to the modulator but that’s all I got. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
