2.75 first gear TH350

2.75 first gear TH350
Have any of you ran a Th350 with a 2.75 to 1 first gear planetary set?? If so, how did it do, with a 3.08 gear?? Or lower numerically, such as a 2.73? I know some will mention an overdrive tranny, but I am not going that route. Been there, done that. Just looking for an opinion on this. thanks
