1983 Delta 88 transmission leaking

Hello everyone. My transmission is leaking and I'm not sure from where. I replaced the pan gasket today but that wasn't the issue. There is a steady stream coming from between the bell housing and the transmission pan. I've attached a photo. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. I plan on dropping the transmission but are there options I can try before doing that?

It is probably the torque converter seal. There is a chance of the pump o ring but those don't leak very often.

Unfortunately the front seal on these transmissions can walk out, causing a leak like this. The trans needs to be removed from the engine to access it. There are retrofit retainers to help keep the new seal in place.
