Advice on Purchasing a 66 Toronado

Hello all! So I found this 66 Toronado on Craigslist (I am sure a lot of bad stories have started like this) and I am contemplating purchasing it. Is there anything I should be wary of before I start digging further into this thing?

I do not know much about the Toronados and what to stay away from or check before purchase. Thank you!

Rust, rust, rust, and the trannys are the weak points.
Also, the headlight actuators can be fixed, but it's expensive.
Check the trunk floor carefully. The drain tubes from the rear louver panel drain through the trunk. If the tubes go, the water ends up on the trunk floor.
They also get rusty around the windows, since these were some of the first windows to be set in the dreaded rope urethane seals, known to ooze out in hot weather.
If all that checks out, they are the best fun to dollar ratio cars out there.
My '66 project car had been sitting since at least 1988. Battery, tune-up, carb cleaned, and she started right up.

Very cool cars, but if it needs a lot of work they can be money pits. Not a lot of repop parts so much will have to be used items.
