Question What do you think . . . value of a 77 toronado XS???

a local guy here has one. Average condition. Not beat up. I have not seen it yet, but he says it is in decent shape.

I don't particularly want one but since it isn't real common, thought I might pick it up and try to turn it for a small profit.

Anyone see one for sale lately? I know the regular toros of these years are not worth a lot.

Maybe $2000 for a clean one?

All input welcome. (ok, maybe not ALL input!! )
Thanks

Depends on actual condition and mileage. Also, whether or not all the stuff is working (i.e., A/C, windows, etc.). A friend of mine has a '78 XS....they are neat.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like the car is in much worse shape than he indicated.

Definitely just a parts car.

I need some parts to my Olds XS-77!!
Parts are plastic.
Left side, and parts, which are
just before chrome at rear.

Tim, you should check out the car again and see if you can get pics for Kolli. If he needs some of the parts he might jump on that car like rabid Bull Terrier on a three legged cat!

The car is about 1.5 hours from my house. I will call and see if he still has it. IT's a long drive for it. I have heard that 77 and 78 back ends are different. I dont know if that is true or not.

TORO XS -77

Here I have a photo, taken 1.5-09 and half hour before we start the
"Vappucruisin". We were ower 400 cars, driving slowly thru the city
of Vaasa. Thousens of people were looking, and we have great time
in the sunshine day!
This meeting is one of the biggiest in Finland of 1st May.
There were only 57.000 people living in Vaasa.
