pulling an engine out of FWD toronado

some of you may have seen my post for 66 toronado for sale, the reason why I bought the car was for the running engine so I need to get going on this project...

I need to know if I need to be aware of any suprises while removing the engine. There are 6 bolts that attach the trans to the engine block and exhaust manifolds on both side that I can separate from the exhaust... am I missing anything else? not sure if removing only these is enough to lift off the engine.

If you have tackled a similar project in removing a big block from a FWD toronado, would appreciate helpful hints.

thanks in advance.

Pulled a seized engine out of a 67 Toro....pretty straight forward. There is an access panel to get to the 3 torque converter bolts out. Then slide converter back away from flywheel and the engine will come out after everything else is disconnected and trans axle assembly will remain.

access panel? aha... hold on there, is that below the car in this case? its a 66.

everything is visible on the top side of the engine and the trans is right below.
