new puzzle...vette master?

Well, I got it go'in, seems to run pretty good but still may have remnants of stale gas, keeping it from running perfect...so I'll cyphen out and refill again with fresh fuel, I only put 3 1/2 gals in so should'be bad, But while it was running and I went to hit the brakes and got no pedal, no leaks but no pedal, so I took off the master cyl. cap and found dirty oil and when taking off the cap it quickly occurred to me that the master is a corvette style with two clasp bars....autozone shows having a normal looking rectangular single clasp rebuilt in stock...but before proceeding I thought I'd post and see if this(vette type cyl.) was a stock application or not, It looks at home there and no ones fudged any lines up...nice and neat, Yes I got front discs....this is a 70 toro....thanks now, cliff

I posted last in the general section, cause stale gas is universal problem, I'm sure there's a few more from me around here somewhere as well....Did you have an answer about the vette style master cylinder that looks like it belongs there?....thanks, cliff
