GSP Axle Shafts?
I have a 1966 with torn boots on both sides. I have zero experience rebuilding these and don’t know someone in the Boston area that is interested in the task. GSP offers new ones at a great price. Has anyone used the GSP shafts? Generally they have a good reputation.
I would also use a split boot repair kit if someone made one that fits.

Split boots of a kind used at Volkswagen Bug are useless on Toronados. There is not enough space for it. The space between the rotating boot and the upper ball joint screw is est. 1/4". Also it is very important to use the right flat clamps. If you use standart clamps (as hose clamps) they will share off and ruined your new boots. For the original boots and clamps you need a special wrench.
If you can find replacement CV shafts go ahead and order them. Don't bother turning in the old ones for a core charge. You'd only get like $30 back and it's worthwhile to have spare parts on hand that you could get professionally rebuilt in the future.
BTW, did you check Fusick?

What about Kanter?
