So where do the ground straps go that come from the firewall? Anybody know?

 

I tried looking at posts you started and your albums. What year Toronado are we working on?

 

Last I remember they bolt to the head.

 

On a '70-'72 Cutlass, they bolt to the rear of the passenger side head. Not sure about Toronados.

 

Sorry about that. It's a 66. I should have taken some pics which I will tomorrow. There are two ground straps coming off the firewall that look like they reach the trans bolt. If they reach there which to me looked like the obvious spot they will probably reach the head. Thanks for the info. This site is a wealth of knowledge.
