66 Toro headrests and tilt tele column
How rare are the headrests on the astro bench seat and the tilt tele steering column? Will the seat backs be the same as bucket seats? Also did they put chrome wheels on 66 Toro?
ThanX for any help

Tilt-telescopic is common as dirt on 1966. Headrests are not common at all.
Strato Bench and Strato Bucket seats use the same seatbacks on all carlines that used them including Chevrolet Caprice, Pontiac Bonneville Brougham and Grand Prix, Olds Toronado and Starfire, and Buick Riviera. The Strato Bench was not offered in the A-body car but their Strato-Buckets use the same seatback. Most Strato-Bench I've seen with headrests also had passenger side recliner.
Chrome wheels were available for 1966.

From what I understand, headrests are exceedingly uncommon among all strato-bench/buckets, across almost all lines.
2 of the 3 '66 Toronado's I've looked at had the tilt-tele. The one I bought being among those that do. Gotta admit, it's pretty cool the way it works.
The seatbacks are the same, however there's some variation over the years, the '66 was the last year for metal-backed. They later years also developed latches for folding forward, which the '66 lacks.
Orriginal '66 Bucket seats in a Toronado are the 2nd rarest thing, next to the '77 XSR. Approximately 50 '66 were ordered with bucket seats... 50, out of 40K.
As already stated, chrome wheels were an option, they are identical to the standard wheels, just shinier.

If you look on the plaque under the hood, it should have "BS" Stamped somewhere... I forget where exactly, that indicates bucket seats.
