65 starfire tilt tele column

Hello folks, I'm looking for a tilt tele floor shift steering column for a 65 starfire or any info on possible candidates. I have a prosthetic leg and it is a bit tough to get in and out , a tilt wheel will really help. Thanks, Joe

Tilt-Telescopic didn't appear until 1966, but a 1966 floor shift version should work in a 65 Starfire. Tilt-only WAS available for 1965 but that will also have to come from a floor shift car- meaning Starfire/Jetstar I as not many Dynamics or Deltas had floor shift.

The lower shroud (where it goes thru the dash pad) on the Olds column is different from the other Divisions so that also limits you for donor cars.

Good luck. I put a tilt column in my 74 Hurst/Olds for easier access. All my tilt-equipped GM cars, I have to raise the wheel to comfortably exit and enter. The Grand Marquis and the F150? I never have to move those wheels to get my legs under them. Go figure.
