66 Olds Toro Decode

Oldsman:

Thank you very much! That "L" is weird and located to the far right of the "10B" build date code and line 1. Oh, well. I am barely digital and don't a the ghost of an idea how to find the photo's URL required by this forum's photo's posting tool.
I can tell you it's a very average Standard Coupe with 150K very obvious miles.

Thanks again,

You are quite welcome Jon. As to posting pics there are several threads detailing the many ways to attach pics. The search engine above and here > Search is your friend. As for the L on the top right of the cowl tag, there are a few theories but none definite (As of yet). Different letter or a different number but always when there is one there it is a single digit or single letter. Some plants did this and some didn't. Chances are it had to do with final inspection or something in-house at the Fisher Plant.

Example like this R at the top right of this tag

Hmm... I may have just stumbled upon the answer. Interior sheet metal paint color. Is the painted metal inside turquoise?
