Cool 1st gen doors

can anyone tell me if '68 doors are the same as '67 ? I need a left door , some clown texting ran a red light and creamed the door and part of the quarter , I found a decent door shell but it's from a '68 , trying to find part's locally is like looking for a ******' unicorn . .. thanks for any help .

According to the 1972 Olds Master Parts Catalog , 1967 and 1968 doors have different part numbers .
And, there were two different 1967 doors . One with malleable iron hinges and one with stamped steel hinges .
1966 Toro is the same as the early 1967 (with the malleable iron hinges).

Have you tried putting a "parts wanted " ad in this forum?

The body lines and glass are the same, but there's difference in the structure due to the door latching system. 67 has front and rear inside latch handles where 68 has only the front. IDK if that affects operation of the latch itself.
