Well this is pretty interesting. Who else has been attaching the choke coil rod in the hole on the choke link rather than placing it on the serrated section? I'm only noticing this now and the 1967 Service Guild update definitely contradicts the '66 CSM Qjet section. Thoughts? If you use the serrated section, how do you keep the rod attached? Always wondered what the R and L was all about.

Good grief.......I have been looking at this for the last hour as the whole thing didn't make any sense and it finally hit me. Those serrations are a measurement after which you connect the linkage back to the hole. Uggh. Well, hopefully my mistakes will help someone else in the future.
