I bought the Doug Roe book back in the early to mid 80s, and it has always been a goldmine of usefulness.

 

I second the Doug Roe book. Had mine for years and always go back when I have q-jet questions or want to "play" with the carb.

 

I have both Ruggles and Roe books and they are both really good if you want to learn and understand the Quadrajet. Cliff Ruggles also sells great rebuild kits that include things not found in parts store rebuild kits. I bought the Ruggles book a few months ago on Amazon for around $15. Great book, easy to understand and very good pictures IN COLOR.
