I recently installed a Lares quick ratio box in my Cutlass wagon and I'm pretty happy with it. It is a conventional Saginaw 800 box.

Bolt in? Which Pittman arm did you use?

I dont know about the 500 series box, but the 800 saginaw box can be rebuilt with a fixed 12.7:1 ratio which made a world of difference on my '72 convertible. My car was a variable ratio before the rebuild.

Yes, it is a complete bolt-in. If your car has power steering now then reuse the original pitman arm. I was converting from manual steering so I had to get the correct power steering arm since the pitman shaft sizes are different between manual and power boxes.
