I bought 2" drop springs from OPGI and was wondering if the flat part of the spring goes into the lower control arm or the upper control arm.

 

If you are talking about the front springs, the flat part goes up, into the pocket in the frame. Look closely at the spring pocket in the lower control arm. There is an indentation where the open end of the coil fits. Be sure to align it correctly.
