Question Drop Spindles or lower Springs?

Currently on the 65 Convertible Cutlass, it’s all stock (front suspension) and what I want to do in a couple of months is replace the front Drum Breaks as well as the booster with New Disc brakes and Master Cylinder (Booster) .. and while doing that job I am debating of doing a 2" drop spindle or should I just go with the lowering 2" spring???

The wheels I am not sure what route I will go yet.
but I want a Hot Rod look on the convertible.

I lowered several trucks in the past and I found spindles work better because you don't loose suspension travel and they where easier to get realigned.

if you want to do it spindles are the way to go. You don't screw up the suspension geometry.
