Front Coil Spring Spacers

Can someone tell me what these are and how to remove them? I am stripping the frame and need to get the coil springs out. I don’t imagine I can compress the springs enough with these and I don’t want them to become a projectile

Thanks.

You should be able to remove the springs without taking the spacers out

Be sure to drop a chain down through the hole for the shock and connect it so the spring does not become a projectile.

You can just jack the car up and pry them out.

I ended up just cutting the spacers out - hard plastic. I have done my fair share of coil springs removals and never really enjoyed it. So i decided to spend $250 and buy this tool. What a difference it made - stout tool and never one worried about it not holding the springs enough compressed. Worth the money.
