Hello!
I am trying to figure out the right steering shaft and box I want.
I am looking for a 16:1 ratio manual steering box.
I also want to replace my steering shaft as the boot is damaged and I'm not sure I want to deal with rebuilding it.

Can anyone provide any recommendations?

 

Stock manual steering boxes are like 24:1 ratio. I have one in my 69 wagon. I know that there are aftermarket 16:1 manual boxes. I can only imagine how much fun that must be to parallel park.
