Who Makes Tall Lower Ball Joints

OK now that Pro forged decided to discontinue there .5" taller lower ball joints. Who else makes them? I know about Howes but they are very proud of them so looking for a more affordable solution.

Check out Proforged.
I've used them on many builds with good results.

Please define "good results", as mine are junk inside of 10,000 miles.

I went with the Howe Racing, rebuildable ball joints; they have multiple ball joint studs in various lengths to dial in your suspension geometry. Unfortunately the Howe parts do not come with boots, so you'll have to source these elsewhere or fab up your own. I installed +.9" upper studs and +.3" lower studs which improved the camber curve and lowered the front just a little.

How many miles do you have on them?

I only have a few hundred miles on mine so can't comment on the longevity. The Pro-forged parts had not yet hit the market when I was building my suspension otherwise I might have used them instead of the Howe parts. I've also started to hear people say they don't last very long. I liked that the Howe parts because they are rebuildable (only the stud needs to be replaced, the housing can stay mounted in the control arm) and you can "lash" them as they wear to preserve precise handling.

Ok, thanks. I think I may be leaning more toward the B-body spindles or similar for camber correction

Not sure of the mileage...
Have a set in my Firebird for 10 years now.

These are also used by UMI on many of their kits.

Ran a set in my S10 also, which were like new when I removed them

The B-body spindle swap was conceived at a time when suspension upgrades where limited. In today's market there are many more options at our disposal to improve the front geometry of our beloved A-body cars. Check out this thread on the B-body spindle swap to learn more about the problems that come with it.

The tall ball joint options available now allow geometry improvements while retaining the stock spindles, brakes and steering components.

+1 on Howe. Mine have been on for ~6 years but only about 5,000 miles or so. They make really good stuff.
The only real topic with Howe is their market is dirt track and they expect to be cleaned frequently. They sell dust boots but they're just OK - they don't sit and seal super well so you have to spend a bit of time messing with them.
