At the swap meet this morning I scored a set of QA1 coil over, single adjustable shocks with #450 springs. The shocks are off a 65 Chevelle. I have a 68 Cutlass I want to put them on. The catalog lists different #'s for 64-67 and 68-72. What will it take to make these fit, what's the difference, anybody know?

 

I can't address the difference but it seems to me to be a bad idea to run suspension forces thru the shock mounts, which are not designed for that.
