Steering Column Bushings

I have a 69 Cutlass with a tilt steering wheel. There is movement in the column up at the wheel. When I look into bearings for it I only see ones for non-tilt columns. Is it different from the tilt bearing? The CSM pictures look the same but don't give enough info to know if they are the same. I spoke with Parts Place and they didn't know and I don't see it shown in any other catalogs.
thanks,
Steve

Are you sure it's a bearing? These tilt columns have a well-documented issue where the bolts holding the housing together come loose, causing motion as you described. See this website for how to access and tighten these bolts.

No, I'm not sure it is a bearing. I guess it is just the race and the seat. WOW, thank you, I have had the wheel off and the dash out so many times I guess one more to get rid of the wobble will be worth it. I'll be replacing the lower bearing as well at the same time. But now I wonder if it only needs to be greased.
thanks,
Steve
