Hello
I need to change the shock absorbers on my 64 F85. The drivers rear seems to sag on occasion. Question is, should I just stick with the recommended stock shocks or has someone discovered a brand or type that work better than the original type for this car?

I'm not sure what you mean by "sag on occasion", but normal shocks have no affect on ride height. That would be controlled by the springs. As for shocks, Monroe Gas Shocks are good, reasonably priced shocks for a stock driver. KYBs are probably better if you want better handling (though keep in mind that the rest of the suspension needs to be in good shape also).

 

Maybe I have a sick spring. What I mean by sags on occasion is that sometimes when I get out and look at the back end the drivers side seems to be sitting a little lower, definatley not level. This is not always the case, most of the time it is level.
