Shocks
For budget-friendly simple options, I'd choose Koni Street Series (orange body) over KYB (having had both over time between my current ragtop and a prior '72 Skylark ragtop) - many threads on the board mentioning both though, so best to search them out for more detailed comparisons.
Bilsteins are a good upgrade as well but they are probably the priciest and the stiffest of at least these 3 options, so think about the road conditions you most encounter before deciding which way to go.
Also, adding a set of Energy Suspension (or similar brand) urethane front end links will additionally help with handling and maybe sharpen your steering feel a bit.

Just out of curiosity I Googled for Koni/KYB comparisons and the first link that came up was this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/vint...9205890346251/
some of which basically reaffirmed how I felt about Koni being better than the KYB's I had on my prior Skylark, albeit in my case recalling the KYB's went soft in a relative hurry, like within 10k miles. The Koni Street shocks that replaced them remained much more composed over the same period and beyond.
Like Riverolds, I also have a 1" solid rear sway bar on my ragtop, but with UMI tubular rear control arms, along with an OEM set of FE2 (F41 for Chevy) rear frame braces. Also a 1-1/8" solid front sway bar, Energy Suspension front end links and currently I run a set of Ride-Tech adjustable shocks all around, set at the mid-point of their adjustment range for all-around street conditions.
Here in FL, the roads are generally decent and free of really harsh surface conditions (i.e. potholes, etc.), so my ragtop rides and handles exceptionally well on its current underpinnings.

Hi do you have Koni part numbers.. Im doing a 72 Supreme Convertible 350 no AC
For the Classic (red) series 80401087 on the front, 80401088 rear / for the STR.T (orange) series 80501046 front and 80501047 rear
Their website for more info on the difference between series is https://shop.koni-na.com/ but basically orange series is designed for performance on a budget - i.e. plug and play non-adjustable shocks like the KYB.
