Rear Coil springs for 66 98 and 66 Starfire?

I'm coming up empty on finding replacement coil springs for my '66 98 convertible which is dragging a bit low in the rear these days.

Anyone have a source and parts numbers so I can get the rear raised up a few inches? Cargo coils most welcome, or other factory style stuff please if it's available...

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Can anyone comment with authority about whether Cadillac rear coils might swap in? A 98 and Cadillac Coupe De Ville shared some parts, I'm wondering if rear springs might swap in...

Wallet lighter, yes, but I’m thankful I can get functional parts for a 58 year old cars. Getting 1 set for my 98 convertible. If that works out, I’ll likely get second set for my ‘66 Starfire coupe.

What do owners of 50’s Nash or DeSoto cars do?

These days I’m not putting that many miles per year on either car. These just might be the last springs & shocks I install on either.

Well, ‘til next time…

Cheers

That also helps with the load on the springs.

The spend for springs and fancy shocks was just north of $1,000, but I'm not selling the car, so I'm hoping to enjoy the improvements for a good long time.

Will let you all know how the install goes.

The big cars just bite you a little harder than the A bodies since there's less of market for parts.

And honestly these cars are gently moving into the antique category year by year. They used to be just "older" cars.

I can almost feel the parts supply dwindling as the years pass.
