Is there any way of installing front springs without a spring compressor?
engine is out of car.

 

I just did this on my car. With the front shock absorbers out, replace with a length of 1/2" redi-rod using a nut on top and a steel plate on bottom, and cinch it up until you can start the castle nuts for the ball joints. Worked slick!
