Front suspension, 1952 Olds Super 88

Has anyone upgraded front suspension on a 1952 Olds Super 88. I currently have stock suspension and am not getting the handling I'd like. Would like to change to coils and hydraulic shocks and wondered if anyone can provide me with info on where to purchase items and instructions on how to install them or if I should just replace current suspension with original stock system.

Thanks!
Jerry

Hi Jerry
I think that finding a bolt on upgrade kit is hard…
On my 53 I restored the knee shocks and filled them with a very high viscosity oil (close to syrup) and got a aftermarket sway bar from a Chevy early 60’s.
This made a huge difference still no race car but a great handler.

Hi CW,
Do you have any contact information on Bill Ersam. I would like to contact him with regards to the sway bar you mentioned in your post to me.

Thanks!
Jerry
