Factory Steering Play

I was just looking through the Assembly Manual and saw this page but can't quite make out the number. Any idea what they felt the play should be?

That has nothing to do with free play. It is only telling you how to adjust the tie rod ends to center the steering wheel within 5 deg. Also, talk to HairyOlds and get a decent copy of the PIM.

x2 on HairyOlds copy of the PIM. I have one and the quality is as near as original as you can get. It has proven extremely valuable.

Thanks, I will contact him. I bought this on Ebay and it is pretty horrible. Of course they explain (BS) that that is the best available.

The ones from Millenium Industries are pure crap and a complete waste of money.

Gotta agree with that since I will be buying another legible one. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
