'70's Full Size Sway Bars ?
By my calculations, it looks as though '71 to '76 full size cars came stock with 1" front (3964967) and no rear sway bars (I'm specifically looking at '73), and that they could be had with Heavy Duty 1 1/8" fronts (3993657), but still no rears.
PST seems to have new (non-original) fronts and rears, maybe others do as well (I've had good experiences with them in the past).
My questions:
What else, if anything, is available out there to firm up that '70's ride?
Were there any factory rears ever installed (perhaps on Chevys or Caddys)?
Are there any unusual or unexpected interchanges?
Are there any telltale signs of HD suspension in junkyard cars (other than police lights ), as these bars tend to be sunk deep in mud in this neck of the woods, and are a bit hard to get an open end wrench around?
I'm not looking to build an Indy car, but would be interested in knowing whether anyone has come across any other interesting, cheap, fairly original options.
Thanks,
- Eric

Back then, I believe you had to get a 'towing package" to get rear bars!
Chevy squads may have with the F-41 suspension, but I don't know if it'll fit the Olds.
Try the California/Arizona yards - they're pretty easy to talk to, usually!
I used a 'coil over the shock' rear helper spring on a few cars that helped a lot, and Auto Zone still has them!
