I can only go back to a 72 print date on a catalog, but the number you ordered in the correct number by it.
Post a picture of what you have

The gm 7802845 is only for a non tilt column, the parts place one is listed for both tilt and nontilt.could be the issue
looks like to use that one you will need to remover the stock bearing retainer.
what exactly doesn't fit correctly?

My Car is a non tilt.
The outer dimater is nearly 3 mm -- 1/8 ″ smaller than the housing from the coulmn.
The stock part fit like a glove inside the housing. Its impotant to get steering shaft centric across the housung and the bearing.

So you say the GM no. is correct ?

By the 72 printing of the parts catalog 7802845 is the correct part number but that is just the bearing not the bearing and plastic bearing housing
https://www.oerparts.com/product/c1003.html

here is an ebay listing for a lower bearing specific for non tilt columns.
they ship to Canada maybe they will ship to germany.

If you want a direct replacement bearing, the Corvettes use the same sloppy bearing and is available from Vette vendors.
