5372 front Spring - 70 350 WITH A/C
5372 front Spring - 70 350 WITH A/C
Looking for some feedback from anyone who has installed moog 5372 front springs in a 70 Cutlass 350 with A/C. Like to know the what the rocker dimension ended up at front and or the what the dimension ended up at, at the center of front wheel opening. thanks
Not running those, but according to the book the 350 with A/C should 5374. That spring (5372) is rated 114 lbs less load and roughly 30 lbs lower spring rate. Was there a reason for choosing those springs?
I used 5536 on my car and the front height measurement is right at the spec in the CSM. I have a post with measurements somewhere - I think it was a reply to pcard.

I just measured, but without removing anything from the trunk. Yeah, I'm lazy.
Front = 8 1/2"
Rear = 9 3/8"
And my car sits perfectly level from side to side. How about that.
Remember my car does not have factory size tires, so these measurements won't match the CSM even if the springs are the correct height.
edit: trunk has a spare, jumper cables, Sears scissor jack, a gallon jug of water, a car cover, and manila folder with some car show papers.
Prolly not enough weight to make any difference.
