Somewhere in my resto process, I lost the steel lid that goes on top of the air filter, but under the plastic flapper that sits on top. Before I spend the $75 for a re-pop, does anyone have a recommendation that I could pick up at an Autozone or local wrecking yard?

If you don't care about originality (and the lid doesn't show when the O.A.I. adapter is in place anyway), I've just used the top from a generic 14" open element air cleaner. Get the non-embossed one, paint it black, and you're good to go.
