Radiator Help

Got a hole in the original radiator on my 1968 Cutlass Holiday Coupe. 350 CID with AC and Automatic. Tried buying a replacement from Autozone and they sent a Spectra Premium that doesn't fit (too deep and doesn't slide into lower saddle mounts.) Any suggestions on a vendor and Part number that has the right one?

You can try and have your original one recored by a radiator shop or repaired if solid enough...

Yep. I had a new core installed in my original end tanks. Got a 4 row high efficiency core to help with summer temps here in Phoenix. Fits and looks just like the original as you can't really see anything other than the end tanks.

Don't know why I didn't think of a recore. I'll give that a shot!

When my 3 row copper core rad sprung a leak I was surprised that most of the Rad shops had closed in my area. So I purchased a rad from summit (Be cool) 2 row Aluminium nice rad much lighter than the original. It took a little work to get it to fit but I made up a couple of aluminium bracket along with spacers for the top plate to compensate for the small height difference.
Hope this helps
Eric

Griffin Dominator if you can't get yours recored. Just measure and make sure the A/G body rad will fit, it will not fit a G body.

The Griffin Dominator F body rad is the one that fits the G body.
