I've got some 350 heads off a 1977 350 and need to start cleaning the place up. How can I tell if these heads are any good or just scrap. Not sure if they are 77 or not. I would assume if they are 1977 they are probably just smog junk but I don't know that's why I'm asking you guys. Thanks...

 

Look for the casting number at the front of the head by the spark plug hole. I think 1977 heads are 3A, which aren't anything special.

 

yup I agree.. I'm pretty sure they don't have an exhaust center devider
