Exhaust Tips

Hey Guys if i cut the Tips off my car i should be able to slip the new ones over the original exhaust right?

It depends on what your cutting vs the length of the new ones.

First drill out any rivets holding them on and spray some penetrating spray. Then give it wack with a hammer being careful not to dent it. After that give it a twist with a pipe wrench and they should come off.

Rivets???

The factory trumpets slip over the tail pipe and are welded. You can grind the welds and then try to remove the tips.
