Block number appears to be blank
I found the "What year is my engine!?!" very helpful in finding my block number. However, when I found the pad, it was blank. The place I am looking is from under the car and located under the #1 plug. There is a battery ground connection attached to the front of the boss.
Am I looking in the correct place?
Did the factory make a mistake?

Here's what you should be seeing.
A blank pad indicates a service motor. Sometimes an erroneous number is stamped into the pad depending on the dealership practices.
Hope this helps.
