What engine?

Hi...my 51 olds has a - I think so - late 60s engine...car was sold to me with a 350/350 combo, but I´m not so really sure what I got, at least when I pulled out the engine+auto and to find out, that I have a TH400...

I went through a lot of FAQs and threads and things like that, but there´s always something that doesnt fit, perhaps someone can help me to find out what engine I exactly have...

What I list now refers to the oldsfaq on 442.com in no special order:

oil fill tube: 9682802 (stamped)
deck height: 10.625" -> should be a BB
near the distributor hole: (big)13 87 CFO (cast)
left side of the block: 660512354 (stamped)
above the timing chain area: 395558 (big)2 (cast) -> SB
heads (driver side at the front and passenger side in the rear): 3172 (stamped)

additional infos:
-engine is painted green now, but when I removed the auto and flexplate, the engine is blue
-distributor the car came with was originally golden, stamped: 1111930 9F 16
-th400 has a riveted plate: 0A-69 19696
-no original carb, now with a edelbrock

Can anyone tell me exactly what engine I have? Maybe some kind of mixture?...What car came this engine of?...I can add some photos if needed...

Thank you,
Thomas

Engine is a 350 Oldsmobile. The number next to the fill tube identifies the block . 395558-2.

The head numbers you gave, are not helpful, however.

There will be a single letter or number by the #1 spark plug hole. That is the head type. I am going to guess yours will be type 5

The 1111930 distributor is a semi-desirable part from 1969 hi-compression 350 motors.

Trans looks also to be an oldsmobile 1969 transmission.

Thanks J...that was my guess as well...and the head has a "5"...does it tell anything about the power?...as far as I know there could be 310 and 325hp on the high-compression motors...
