not enough air comming thru fan ?
69 Cutlass 350 2bbl, small cam , etc , problem; overheats when ever it's not moving. I thinking , not enough air being pulled thru the rad at idle....so...The fan is a 6 blade, 17 or 17 1/2'', the shroud (original, I think ) has 1'' clearance on one side, 2'' clearance on the other, .....another thing I notice, the water pump pully is about 7'', while the one in my '67 Toro (with the 425) the pully is about 6''. How does all this compare with what you guys have ?
