Help Identifying my engine

I just bought a 85 442 with a TH350 and a 350 rocket, but don't know what year it is from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Post the number.cast next to the oil fill tube and the stamped number on the block below the #1 spark plug where the block meets the cylinder head.

The oil fill tube and heads can be swapped. The only foolproof way to know the year of the block is to look at the VIN derivative stamp. The second character of that stamp is the model year of the block. The "0" in this VIN derivative indicates the 1970 model year.
