mostly stock 350 update and repairs

ok ive had my 72 delta 88 350 since september and have done the following mods
msd hei coversion , 4 barrel intake , holley 600 carb and just general upkeep my question is has any one tried the summit brand timing set mine finally jumped a tooth and its time to replace it and im changing cams and heads soon but im limited on funds will it last 4 to 6 months

Unless you are going to something like aluminum heads you would be wasting money to get rid of the 7a heads you have now. Just take them and have them cleaned up and maybe new springs to go with your new cam.

I had to order a waterpump also so I had to go the 27.95 t chain I only had 110 to fix both
I ordered the summit brand chain I didn't see the cloyes when I ordered last night

do I need to line up the dots or 12 0 cloc 12 0 clock them

I use 12 o clock for the bottom and 6 for the top sprocket.

ive got it at 12 12 now
6 is tdc
dizzy is at 6
does this sound right
